Mandali Resources — Read PDFs with Floating Chanting Counter

Many devotees chant while reading sacred texts — counting mantras alongside scripture reading. Shraddha Saburi Path's unique floating counter overlay lets you read PDFs, images, and documents shared by your Mandali while simultaneously counting your chants. The counter floats over the reading interface, so you never have to switch between apps or lose your place. Read, chant, and count — all in one seamless experience.

How It Works

  1. 1

    Access Mandali Resources

Your Mandali owner uploads PDFs, images, or text documents as shared resources. These appear in the Resources section of your Mandali.

  2. 2

    Open a Resource

Tap any resource to open it in the built-in reader. PDFs render page-by-page with zoom and scroll controls.

  3. 3

    Enable Floating Counter

Activate the floating chanting counter overlay. A small, draggable counter appears on top of the reading view.

  4. 4

    Read and Count

Read the text while tapping the floating counter for each mantra repetition. Both reading progress and chanting counts are tracked.

Key Features

Built-in Resource Reader

Read PDFs and images directly within the app. No need to switch to an external PDF viewer.

Floating Counter Overlay

A small, non-intrusive counter floats over the reading view. Tap it to count chants while you read.

Dual Progress Tracking

Both your reading progress and chanting counts are tracked simultaneously. Two forms of practice in one session.

Resource Library

Mandali owners upload PDFs and images as shared resources. Members access them in an organized library. Available from Shraddha Mandali (10).

Guided Audio on Sankalpas

For audio practice, Mandali owners record their own voice directly in-app on any sankalpa. Members play it while reading and counting — a full multi-modal practice experience.

Save and Resume

Your reading position and chanting count are saved automatically. Return to exactly where you left off.

Who It's For

  • Devotees who chant mantras while reading sacred texts and need simultaneous tracking for both
  • Mandalis that share study materials, scriptures, and practice guides with members
  • Practitioners who follow along with a text during chanting sessions
  • Groups using specific reading materials for organized Parayan or study programs
  • Anyone who wants the convenience of reading and counting within a single app interface

Frequently Asked Questions

What file types can be shared as resources?

PDF and image files (JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF). Audio is not available as a resource upload — Mandali owners can instead record their own voice as Guided Audio on any sankalpa, which members can play while reading and counting.

Can I read resources without the floating counter?

Yes. The floating counter is optional. You can read resources in the standard reader without activating the counter.

Who can upload resources?

Mandali owners (and co-admins on higher plans) can upload PDFs and images. Members can view and read them.

Is the resource reader free?

Resource viewing is available from Shraddha Mandali (10) and above. Nitya Sadhana (free) is personal-only.

Does the floating counter save to my chanting history?

Yes. Counts made with the floating counter are saved just like regular chanting counts, contributing to your streak and Sankalpas.

Can I zoom into PDFs?

Yes. The built-in reader supports pinch-to-zoom and scroll for comfortable reading of PDFs on any screen size.

Practice together with family, friends, or fellow seekers.

Free to start. Takes under a minute.
